Why Data Science?
Our Data Science program empowers students in 9th through 12th grade to learn how to use data to make informed decisions, help others understand the world, and make discoveries. Upon graduation, students will receive a data science and analytics industry certificate.
In an era dominated by information, our program provides students with the tools to navigate the vast sea of data and harness its power for solving complex problems, all while in a traditional high school setting. Students gain a solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, computer science, and analytical thinking.

iPrep Academy North, modeled after iPrep Academy PreK-12, offers students a challenging curriculum that exposes them to critical thinking, internships, research, Dual Enrollment opportunities, and the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education. The iPrep North Data Science program adds to the school’s portfolio of innovative Magnet program offerings and is one of the first two offered across Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS).
