We invite families of prospective students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade to explore the vibrant world of our International Studies Magnet Program. This guided tour offers a firsthand look at how our school nurtures global learners from their very first day through the elementary years.

• Informational Session Begin with an overview of our magnet philosophy, curriculum, and enrichment opportunities. Learn how students engage with world languages, global cultures, and international perspectives across all grade levels.
• Classroom Visits Step into active learning environments across multiple grade levels to see how international studies come to life. From kindergarten play-based exploration to upper-grade project-based learning, you'll witness how global themes are integrated at every stage.

Looking for a sneak peek into South Miami Senior High's campus, academics, student life, and Magnet program offerings? Join us for one of our tours! Campus tours are approximately 1 hour long, beginning promptly at 9:30 am. 

Dr. Rolando Espinosa K-8 Center’s magnet program, DREcomm: Center for Communications, aims to cultivate confident communicators, creative storytellers and compelling media artists. DREcomm is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students from pre-kindergarten to 6^th grade to explore the world of digital media, storytelling, and public speaking in the heart of Doral’s thriving media hub.

DREcomm will provide a comprehensive, K-8 educational pathway that empowers all students to become skilled communicators and media-literate citizens. The program aims to foster critical thinking and practical skills that will prepare students for advanced academic programs and future careers in a dynamic, media-driven world. This is achieved by creating a foundation of communication skills in the early grades that progresses to hands-on, professional-level experiences in middle school.

You are invited to the Barbara Goleman Senior High School MEGA MAGNET OPEN HOUSE!

This event is designed for future students and their parents to learn more about our award-winning Magnet programs. Each Open House will last about one hour and includes an informal presentation along with the opportunity to explore our programs and meet our team.
