TERRA Tuesday Tours are weekly tours of our campus. A presentation by the Magnet Lead Teacher, key faculty/staff and students cover an overview of the school, the magnet application process, admissions criteria and important dates. Students and families visit the Magnet and VPA classrooms, interact with students and faculty and have a Q&A session.
- Conservation Biology
Students and Parents interested in attending the nations only Conservation Biology program will have an opportunity to visit the campus and observe the amaizing work the students and teachers do. Visitors will be be able to visit the Main Campus and the Zoo Research Station.

| In-Person School Tours will begin on October 1, 2026. Magnet Tours will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple opportunities to schedule a tour will be provided at 9:00 A.M., 11:00 A.M., and 1:00 P.M. Parents and guardians will also have the opportunity to attend school tours presented in Spanish and Haitian-Creole. Join us for an Ammons Middle School Magnet Informational Session and School Tour!
Prospective students and families will begin with a brief informational session highlighting the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), academics, student opportunities, school culture, and the magnet application process.
Following the presentation, families will participate in a short guided tour of key areas of our campus and visit select classrooms for a glimpse of what it’s like to be an Ammons Eagle.
