The Iovine and Young Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Miami Edison Senior High School, modeled on University of Southern California’s Iovine and Young Academy, brings a hands-on problem-solving approach to fusing technology, entrepreneurship, and design within an interdisciplinary, project-based high school curriculum.
This cutting-edge program is made possible through a visionary gift and in partnership with entrepreneurs, music producers, and Beats co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young.

A learning experience that emphasizes discovery, creative problem solving, critical thinking, and real-world, project-based opportunities with leading industry, non-profit, and education partners.

Students go from concept to prototype with a focus on human-centered, market-aware design.

Students gain hands-on experience with current and emerging technologies, building tools and systems that address real needs and drive progress.

From ideation to operational prototype, students develop business ventures while exploring branding, market sustainability, and the ethical and cultural roots of disruptive innovation.
